stig0000 has a very similar one fitted to his td5, his might still have a plate on it saying who its manufacturer is

Erich,
Certainly LOOKS like a Longranger, if so it is likely to be the 136litre version.
Does it have a stamped serial number anywhere? The drain plug should be drivers side, near the front on the outside edge.
In the early days of production, some had odd serial numbers apparently.
All the fittings and inlets etc look in the right place for a Def Longranger.
If it is, they are a great tank and I'll be fitting one to my county for sure.

The Isuzu 110. Solid and as dependable as a rock, coming soon with auto box😊
The Range Rover L322 4.4.TTDV8 ....probably won't bother with the remap..😈
X2 looks like a long ranger
Thanks for that. The drain plug is in the front right corner. I couldn't find and numbers or description, but the tank was painted in a thick bituminious type of paint which has protected it.
I ruled out Long Ranger in my post, because I thought they didn't protrude into the rear right corner space, but I must be mistaken.
I installed a Long Ranger in our 1999 TD5 and this was a completely different shaped tank, with the cut out at the top for the fuel pump.

I have seen the long ranger brochure with that tank on it
My money is on a company based in Melbourne call Long Range Automotive (LRA). If it is it will 140L capacity
Search thread "long range tank prices". for a picture.
Cheers
It's not a long ranger, don't know what it is but it's definitely not a long ranger.
Looks like an LRA
I've got one in my '95 Deefer
Probly to late but it is either a tr36 or tr36dc (dual cab) from the longranger
