Best place to install two way on 200TDI 130?

Just wondering, have a little UHF unit and would prefer to have it above somewhere? The roof is lined and a bit saggy in parts but doesn't seem stable enough to have a two way dangling from it. Any ideas?

I've got mine installed vertically in front of the cubby box between the seats in my County 110. A lot of people like it up in the air but I actually prefer this position as it's more intuitive to reach out in the same area as the gear stick to me than above. You can see it in the pic attached ...

Mine is the same spot as Simon's, but inside the cubby box. About the same spot as Simon's stereo by the looks of things. A hole saw allowed the cables to enter through the bottom of the box. Apart from the aerial, nobody would ever know it was there. It helps that my UHF radio has all the controls on the handpiece though.

I ended up getting a roof console and mounting it that way - works a treat albeit a tad pricey.

    Hi,
I mounted mine between the driver's seat and the cubby. I had to make a new bracket to keep it away from the cubby a little (cooling) and the bracket is held in-place by the cubby being screwed down.
The wires and aerial come in under the cubby, and the mic. clips to the front of the cubby.
Being a Puma 130 CC, the antenna is mounted up on the head board of the tray.

    cheers
