    Clarkies new 2001 TD5 defender 110

Guys, silly me bought another rover. Yep 2001 fender 110
It's a tad rough and had a travelled life. Done a few k's. Was a company car to a land surveyer. So it's full of dust from all parts of Oz
    Pics to come
It's been chipped and has a snorkel, roof rack, alloys, maxi axle caps. Had a few things done mechanically over the years and been well maintained.
I bought it on a whim and was in the right place at the right time. He only wanted loose change for it. So I got it at the right price. Passed a roadworthy 1st go. So that's nice. Drives nice. Plan is to make it a tourer and run around for me and my boys. The county will be upgraded to more extreme. So all touring stuff comes out of the county
Plan is to clean the fender up. Send it to a detailer and then go from there

    More details to come

Ohhhhh it has. Amazing how 10 hrs with a pressure washer and a sponge will clean one out.
I stripped the interior out to the bare alloy frame and got the karcher into it. Sponged and soaped it up. Then rinsed it out. Then had to degrease the rear seat. It had the whole base covered in diesel I think. So that came up a treat with a bit of tlc and pressure washer. Scrubbed all the floor mats and washed the outside.
Vacummed the seats. Wiped the dash after I gave it a gentle pressure wash. Cleaned the under seat boxes out. Gave the ecu's a wipe over. Reassembled it and degreased the engine and driveline

Looks fantastic. Next is to remove the roofrack and clean it properly. I'll detail it more next weekend. Scrub the door trims. Wipe the dash over to make it shine. Pull the stuff off it does not need. Like the 2nd spare.

    Ohh found out more stuff
Has a D2 transfer case, maxi axles in rear. Maxi rear ball joint, maxi track rod. Diffs and gearbox and transfer rebuilt not long ago. Under warrantee it had a new gearbox
Have to confirm the d2 transfer case as that means it will have 1.22 ratios in it
