    Rear Main Seal

    To repair this.. is it a job that requires the engine to be pulled.?

    I've done some searching on this and apart from the general feeling that it's a bit of a job,
    is this one that can be done at home (by 2 fairly competent swearers)?

    yep, providing you have a floor crane to lift the engine or a trans jack to pull the tranny..

    inspect both the box and the donk carefully and decide which has the most "well that also needs some looking at" factor and then pull that item out and do as much maintenance on it as you can while you have it out.
