Thats right,mines ben serviced by LR from new and it had a 60k service last week,$500 with tyre rotation and they found the clutch was jerky on the road test and replaced it no questions asked,can't really complain about the cost after that,ask yourself another question,would you buy one that has been dealer serviced from new or by someone else?. Oh dear! A well known in Perth (notoriuos?) independent told me very recently that "oil is oil" in a manner which suggested to me that anything will do which is the very reason lots of us won't use them.
Not in my Puma it won't "do" and I'll get the best I can for the small services which I do myself but leave the big ones to a trusted mobile man or the stealer.

I am not knocking all the dealers,some,like many businesses, appear to be a lot better than others.
Hopefully the new 90 will serve as well as the old 95 130 can't see myself ever selling either.
I am a diesel mechanic and land rover had no qualms efficiently dealing with a couple of early warranty claims on the old girl and that beast has always been home serviced.
I'm not knocking indies either,I've used many over the years but people like dealer stamps in service manuals and like happened to me,the dealer fixed a problem I didn't think I had without question,its worth paying extra for. PatQuote:
