						what is d/gas?
Propane. Used in a similar way to water injection, but for a diesel engine.

if you were winding the wick up that high on a td5 that it needed the water/methanol injection to get the temps under control you'd probably blow the head apart or tear the exhaust manifold completely off.

i am not looking to turn up the wicked,i am running just around 18 psi, with a standard inter-cooler.the roads in Barbados aren't that long, short and windy, the highways are the only real long roads and even then some sort of intersection comes on to it,longing for better fuel economy.i get about 550 km on about 68-69 liters.yes i know that the tank has in more, but i prefer not run out of fuel on the road.

Let us start with what water/methanol injection does. It acts as an intercooler to reduce the temperature of the charge air. So, unless you are already over fuelling, you need to add more fuel to take advantage of the denser charge air. There are easier ways of achieving this, a bigger intercooler being the obvious one.
