A tipping tray for my 130.

I want to convert my single cab 130 to a tipper. Does anyone have any experience of this? Are there good and bad ways of going about it? Any particular make of kit that you would recommend or anyone in particular that I should contact?

I've seen one on a dual cab and the owner hated it...

IMHO it was a crappy design and when he tilted it with 2t of sand on it the "hinges" bent away from and tore the welds off of the chassis.

I reckon done right Its got to be a good thing. I'd probably start by building a sub frame for it to mount to thats removeable so that if something does go amiss you can turn up to an engineering place (or repair place of your choice) undo a handfull of fastners and fork it off for repair without losing the whole vehicle.

I know a guy in Dural who has made a tipper for his 130 and he loves it.

Given time I could possibly get some information.

    Wally,
Watch this space! I have arranged to see the Dural man so I can get some pics this coming Friday.

He bought a kit of gear and installed it all with his son's help, and says it works extremely well.

If there are any particular questions you have let me know and I will ask.

This tipper is based on a kit that cost $1800. The whole tipper assembly is removeable so a camper van can go on.

I have more pics. If you would like more info just ask.
