Oh please.....

We just put a deposit on a 90 yesterday for $39990, plus a few extras. The dealer said he'd sold 5 in the last two days. They're flying out the door.

I did not take up the option but surely someone will. I think it was Trivetts, and the sales guy was good, but as i was talking to about 7 different dealers it is now all a blur. The bloke said he had one coming just after Feb but if you ordered it now it would still be classified under the sale so the discount applied.

BTW recently put the deposit down for mine I will be able to pick it up in a week and am just stoked on the price with accessories. I will be putting a snorkel on and adding a few little extras of my own (later some big mods like exhaust / intercooler) but just cant wait to hop in and get on the beach.............

Have been on holidays and thankfully away from the computer. The one I was offered was a 7 seat black with the upgraded rims. It was going for $50,900 I believe !! What a deal.... Its most probably not sold yet either so if anyone else is looking..............

I am sure it was Trivetts but have thrown out all the details I had kept because I chose a different color option and really didnt want the 7 seater....

Anyway, hope someone picks up the great deal. But even at the price you paid its pretty good as an on road deal.

Does anyone know if the 130 is on sale? i test drove one in newcastle a few weeks back. They wanted 57990, it was just flat white, no extras at all and had no tray. It was very basic, fit and finish was crap even compared to the 110 next to it Also the dealer was a jerk, when i questioned him about the poor quality and fit of everything he just made a comment about the defender being a farm track, he also wasnt willing to move on price at all.

The whole experience put me of buying one really though i am considering heading down to Sydney to try my luck there.

I could get a 130 with metalic paint,tub with extra windows in the hood,tow pack drive away for 61K out of Perth. Pat
