    channel 20 sounds good to me but i will sticking with LROCS channel when im out in the bush with them.

    That's my understanding Drover,
    Channel 20 is the channel I turn to if I happen to see a random Defender or any other Land Rover, or maybe an AULRO trip.
    Club channels will still be club channels for club trips.
    And 10 is for general 4x4ing.

    I used to get the truckies round this way on 20. Over the last year I have only heard 2 people. Mine is left of 20 unless I have a reason to change it.

    I agree with this. For the ch 10 adherents, isn't it possible to program most receivers to selectively scan? So listen to 10 but scan 20 or vice versa? Not that I know how to program mine...
