    can you ID these tyres?[solved]

    Hi guys,
    probably a long-shot, particularly with the poor quality of my camera, but does any one have any idea on what these tyres are?

    Actually looks like 15" diameter wider bands welded to Defender centres, possibly with 11.50x33" tyres.

    I reckon they are old Olympic SteelTreks. Have a look at images on this website Bond, as see if they look right: Olympic SteelTrek 7.50R16LT Tyre tyres 4x4 For Sale in Australia.

    Won't those tyres have the manufacturers name, tyre name and tyre specs impressed into the tyre wall.

    ok tracked em down, michelin 900x16
    probably a bit extreme for what I want, and expensive

    from the look of the tread (playing around with contrast, etc) they do look like michelin XCL's
