    Aircon seems to cut out

    Hi All,

The latest in my series of problems with my new Puma 110, the aircon runs well for 5 or ten minutes and then seems to cut out even though the little red light is still on. This is only my subjective opinion from holding my hand in front of the vent, ie icy cold at first, then slowly seeming to warm up until it seems stuffy in the cabin.
I suppose there could be a thermostat controlling this, however I'd rather it stayed on till I turn it off, as it's bloody hot and humid here in Sydney at the moment.
    Any suggestions?

There have been a few instances of this happening...IIRC the "coolth" exchanger icing up and preventing the cold air from getting through?

    Here is one example:

    Air Conditioner Icing Up

I haven't suffered from this on mine so I don't know why it happens on one and not another?

Touch wood, neither have I. When I was buying, the demo at the dealers did it. Should have seen the salesman panic.... The dual cab adjacent was fine though and it must have run for 40min while I was looking around. It was bloody freezing inside when I had my last look.

Same confusion as to why it appears to be a random thing.

Hope you get it sorted without too much hassle tieds

    aircon exchanger and thermostat location

Thanks for this, do you know where the exchanger and thermostat are located? I'd really like to get a workshop manual for this model 110. (MY10)

There certainly have been a few of these including mine. There was a recent thred on it.

Was fixed under warranty but required removal of dash.
