I have no idea, but a +2in rated spring should be giving a 2in lift.
If you go to the terrafirma website they advise the springs for the particular load front or rear.

I had a closer look and took some photos to see if i could get to the bottom of this.
Maybe repositioning the spring, might solve the problem.
If you have a look at the images attached you'll see the end corner of the spring touching the side of the chassi mount and pushing it towards the relocation cone and that is why it's not seating properly. If I rotate the spring so that end seats on a wider part of the mount it might be OK.
Well, I'm hopping that's the problem.

I also found that the cones bind on the springs due to the wire guage being thicker, and they bind real tight, thats why you need to grind the cones to suit. Its a pig of a job and my 110 fell off the stand and tried to kill me when the spring let go off the cone so take care.

This is a +2in lift springs, obviously requiring +2in shock absorbers to match.
SO MUCH FOR KING SPRINGS BEING VERY GOOD. If they are, why don't they make them to fit properly on the vehicles they sell it for?[/QUOTE]
I think you'll find that kings dont make 2" lift springs they 30-40mm higher only at best.
I've never seen anywhere in a king spring catalogue ,that they do a 2", only "lifted".
With a bit of technical advice from my mechanic I narrowed down the problem to repositioning the springs, and also I'll have to cut back the front relocation cones about 10mm to accommodate the Terrafirmas Big Bore without scratching the shock pan.
It was just beginners mistake and inexperience. I apologize about the King springs comment I made before. My mechanic has the same setup in his rig and swears by them both, Kings and Terrafirmas.
The ride is already excellent even with the vehicle unloaded,..... well......anything would feel better then what I had before but .....it feels good to drive, if I discount the fact that I still have to fit it properly.
Yes the Kings are about 40mm lift, more at the back then at the front, but again I haven't loaded the vehicle yet. At the front it didn't raise much at all, about 15mm from what I had before, but my other springs where HD from Landrover.
The Terrafirma Big Bore shock are +2" and they are quite impressive, with a very large oil pan and the extra travel is ........awesome.
I'll give an update on my impressions about this system after Monday, I'll have it finished then. At the moment i'm getting a TD5 alive performance intercooler fitted with Samco Hoses, the ECU remapped and a good service to prepare for big trip.
