Im around 6'1" myself and tried stratos seats first from opposite lock. However i found they were too high and got a sore neck looking out the side window. Reverted to the original seats for about a year. Recently I lashed out and bought recaro's from the ideal seat co in Melbourne. Absolutey with out doubt the best thing I've ever bought and put in a car. They even have folding seat bases but you still have to remove 2 bolts to get to the battery.
Now I can drive for hours with a comfy butt which is great. Ian the owner of ideal is also a top bloke to have a yarn to and the after sails service is also great. All up installed was a little under 4k but worth every cent. I know some people will think that's dear and they're probably right to a degree. But as the old adage says, you get what you pay for.
Hi guys thanks for all the honest replys. I am 6'3'' and my back problem is mid and upper back. I find the landy seat just to low in the back and it has no lower back support for me. I am thinking the recaro is worth a try. its not about the cash but the adjustable support for the whole back. Once again thanks guys.
I went out and scored a pair from a BX Citroen.

Haven't fitted them yet, but have the lumbar support/adjustment I've been chasing. Cheap too!
Will post a review once fitted and long distance stint.
