Lots of WD40, when you can't hold them add more grease them.
Well, maybe not that far but you will need to remove the spring to fit unless they've changed dramtically in the lsast few years.
Gents,
Hoping to get round to installing my new polyair's (Airbag man equivelents to be exact) at the weekend.
Whats the easiest way to get them in?
My thought so far is to jack up the vehicle, remove the bottom shock nut, pull the spring out and slide the bag in and spacer blocks in.
Or is there an easier way? Can the bags be simply scrunched up and pushed in through the top hanger?
Thanks
J

I've done this twice. My poly's are 10 years old, having been in 2 110s.
For me, I folded them as flat as I could (get air out of them) and folded them in half along a vertical crease line. I was then able to feed them into the spring between the coils and then inflate . I did not remove the springs.
However....
I've found the hardest part of the job to be mounting the top retaining plate onto of the upper spring mount. I had to drill four holes in the top mount and bolt the plate on. I took the spring out to do this.
