Reverse Light Wiring
So I decided to sort out the lack of reverse light today.
The globe and light fitting are all ok. There was an extra wire run from the positive side of the fitting which had been cut but nothing to exciting.
I checked the switch plug underneath and found nothing....no wires.
The switch itself is there but apart from a few odd bits of loom hanging around there are no wires.
I checked the switch with a continuity tester. I would have thought that if reverse was engaged then the switch should be closed and continuity restored?
Not the case for me.
So I need to find out which colour wires I should be looking for from the loom around the gearbox. I don't want to run new ones to the light because all the existing goes inside the chassis?
Any help on the wire colours would be greatly appreciated.

Colours from the switch should be green and green/brown trace.

Thanks! - is that for an R380?
I take it I am missing the part of the loom that goes between the bottom plug in the picture (YPC10070) and the switch itself?

I got a new switch but the plug doesn't match the available plug near the gearbox. The one from the switch is a two position yellow and black one (just like the diagrams) but the one it would probably plug into is a two wire three position....
Eeek!
