    Puma rattle...Engine No 2

    Just wondering if anyone has experienced a similar rattle...

    From first cold start of the day until it has done around 5km, I get a fairly rapid tap tap tap type rattle from the engine bay. It's reasonable load (& I'm a bit deaf too).

    This occurs under load or acceleration and at moderate rpm's. As soon as I back off the load it disappears. Re-apply the load & it's back.

    My original engine was replaced at 83,000 km due to a similar sounding rattle, which only occurred on much cooler starts & disappeared more quickly. This engine has now done 52,000 kms. It's booked with the dealer to investigate.

    Could be that the injection learning procdure hasn't been done completly/correctly after a software update.
