    TD5 Defender no Performance

After a week of TD5 Defender ownership I changed all oils and filters to have the vehicle completely useless the next morning.
Havent got a Nanocom yet so set about finding problem.
Symptoms were normal performance initially then vehicle went into limp mode no more than 60 ks an hour.
Eventually found fuel pump relay wasnt always connecting replaced fuel pump relay and all is well.
Just for those who get caught in the future

    Td5 fuel pumps

Alls good then mate!,if you can,try to keep a 1/4 tank of fuel in it to give the pump some cooling and lubrication,I killed my first one pretty quick running it empty all the time, also,if you run a bio-diesel blend (or B100),only use genuine LR fuel filters, the aftermarket ones are not compatible with bio-diesel!,and they will leave a deposit which will stick the fuel pump and burn it out!(it's a long story but trust me).

Good luck with the new jigger!
    Cheers Gregg
