There are a lot of 90's getting about.
But there are only, I think, 82 of us that believe Defenders are better carpeted.
We really are a unique bunch, If you get rid of it you know in time you're going to miss the refreshing shower as the water leaks through our sunroof's.
Jokes aside, don't get rid of the SVX. They're irreplaceable. Mine is full of faults but I love it. Will be a sad day if I ever sell it.

At this time the boss (wife) has put her foot down and said no way is the Puma being sold, but we will see after we get back from Cape Leveque. The big boat may still be on.

A "collectible" is kept in its original box in a climate controlled environment and never used.....too late if you have used yours.
We have a 1928 Model A Ford in the shed...I can't wait to get it out of its box and go for a drive...after all that's what it was meant for.:)

I agree with that particular definition and also that these things should not be "kept in aspic"....however if I put a SVX with 10km on the clock kept in an air conditioned shed in the market place I would expect to get more for it than a SVX used for its intended purpose....just ask a coin or stamp collector.Quote:

I am not suggesting that an SVX will increase in value.
Don't say that Drover. Part of my sales pitch to the wife was that in the future it was going to be worth far more than it's purchase price.
