    Hi,

I am certain if you do your own install it will be done correctly and sealed. On the vehicle I purchased had a raised air intake fitted, as this was no way a snorkel, as the original fittings inside the guard would have leaked like a sieve.

There are a few Puma snorkel installs mentioned on previous posts. I probably went over the top.

Give Mahn "one_iota" a PM to see how he has has his install done. I believe he has also replaced the original plastic bits with a flexible hose.

    cheers bundy..............

squeezed my skull under bonnett/ gaurd today, looks simple....

.biggest drama..appears to be those bloody plastic inner gaurd fastners..........

gentle removal appears to be the key!

I'll be interested to hear how you go.
My genuine air intake is in for a remove and refit with plenty of sensor friendly silicon.

I asked LR when fitting to seal it up, but can't say with faith that actually happened.

Another mod which I forgot to mention previously was to replace the water drain on the bottom of the air box with a duck bill type. I wasn't happy with the flimsiness of the OEM item. It may be OK but these are proven.

There was another water bleed further along the plastic line towards the snorkel, but this disappeared on ours.

Hi, I found this rummaging through a box of similar items at RP Wallis, a hose supplier just up the road. I imagine these would be available from the likes of a Donnaldson supplier. Don't ask about sizes or part numbers. I did have to trim it and alter the grove in the air box as well.
