    Bitumen Paint Dangers?

Thinking of painting the bottom of the 110 passenger and driver footwells with Bitumen paint after the few small rust spots are fixed up.

I have most of a 20 litre tub of stuff I painted the inside of some Besser Block garden beds with.

Was thinking of painting the above metalwork with same.

Any dangers from potential fumes given that the exhaust runs below the passenger footwell?

I suggest looking at the MSDS which may be available on the manufacturers web site.

Even the tin might have an indication of whether or not you can use in a heat prone area.
