Electrical problem - Three Speed Fan Switch

I have an 85 County V8. I cannot find an electric diagram for it, and in any case there has been considerable modification and rewiring.

The fan is operational if power is applied directly, but I cannot get any power through via the three speed switch. I can't find a fuse that suppoerts the three speed switch either.

Attached is a diagram of the connector that attaches to the back of the three speed switch. Can anyone suggest where some of these wires go?

I think the Aus models had an aftermarket aircon unit. I looked thru the workshop manuals wiring diagrams & Isuzu ( as they had aircon) & nothing matches.

Usually if the fan only runs at full speed it's the resistor that's the problem. It was quite common in the UK. Check out LR4x4 technical forum.

    Ivan,
Thanks for that. I bet I have that problem as well. I got quite excited but with the ignition on I still dont have power to the fan when the 3 speed switch is in the max position. I have a gremlin somewhere else, godammit!

    Regards

    Jim
