defender ??LSD and diffs
Hey very one
Just wondering does a 1996 110 defender cab chassis have a LSD and is it a good LSD??
And also what models or how can you tell if a defender has one of those military diffs or Salisbury something diffs…?
Any help would be good I am new to land rover and 4x4’s.

All defenders have open cross axle differentials.
You can buy LSD centres for all defender differentials.
Salisbury differentials were used in the rear of defenders from County days through to 2002 or so I believe.
They are easy enough to identify, your 1996 should have one, just compare front to rear diffs - youll get the hang of it pretty quickly I am sure!!!!
