Hi, I asked about this at Ritters and mechanic was not sure if it is possible because of high pressure in Puma fuel lines. He is going to advise. Cheers.

Seems like no one has fitted an extra filter to their Puma Defender. Is this because it is so new, or because you can't?

We are looking at it here in NZ with the local unoffical LR guys, they were invesigating the fuel pressures etc also, will report back next week, we waited until the warranty for the puma had expired first

?? The fuel lines aren't pressurised until the fuel gets to the engine. There is no in tank pump on the Puma, they have a combined lift/hp pump on the engine.

My biggest concern with adding an extra filter is that the pump has to draw the fuel through both filters. I would be more tempted with fitting an aux tank and filtering the line from that tank to the main tank, if you had to use "suspect" fuel you could put it in the aux tank and filter it into the main.

    Cheers,
