    2010 Defenders, anyone got one?

Anyone bought one of those 2010 Defenders?, They really sound ok. are they? any surprises?[ I'm dreaming again] Bob
I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

Hi Bob, we got ours 12 months ago , pretty happy with it so far although we had a fuel contamination problem which cost the insurance company $ 5500.00 to fix. Also over the weekend while preparing for our desert trip found contaminated oil in the front diff, I suspect a leaking hub seal allowing the oil and grease to mix ( I Hope thats all it is) will take to the dealer tomorrow. Apart from that so far a very capable vehicle

I have heard fuel contamination from remote fuel outlets is a growing problem with all common rail diesel engines. Some owners have invested in a funnel with filter fitted to pre-filter fuel before it reaches the tank.Don't know how effective it is in fixing the problem. Bob

I thought they were standard equipment, they were on all Land Rovers in 1985.
