On my (slightly) aging 110 County, the door lock buttons which are actuated by the key through linkages have been sticking when unlocking with a key.
The plastics had worn to the extent of allowing the button to push just a little bit sideways within its slide.
This places a lot of stress on the key itself when unlocking and lubrication of linkage clips and button slide etc was of no assistance.
FWIW, a shim secured in the slide rails of the button takes out the sideways movement and returns the key unlocking action to new (or better than new).
The parts are probably only a couple of bucks at the LR shop but I am a long way from that shop
Now a few pics showing just how to secure & locate the shim (note grimey work conditions)
Note: as shown in this final pic, the shim needs to be secured short at the top end to enable the bumps on the bezel to engage these locking holes
Hope it helps someone out![]()
