    external mirrors

    Hi All
    Just wondering if anyone knows how to pull the mirrors apart as i need to fix one. I have the mirror off need to get the rest apart as it will not stay in position

    Bit more info? or pics. Do you have the mirror head off the arm or the arm off the door? Not sure what you're asking.

    You can pull the rubber seal from around the rim of the mirror off, so you can then pry the glass off the housing-it was glued on on my County's mirrors.
    Otherwise its an allen key job to take them off the balls...

    Have the mirror arm off the defender and also have the mirror off the arm. Need to pull the black arm apart to fix as it will not stay in position

    Hi,
    have you found the little flip off cover on the top of the point where the mirror arm swivels?
    I suspect accessing the works starts some where there.

    The only reason I suspect so, is that some how the little flip off cover on mine has some how flipped off, and it looks like access might be a possibility.
