    PUMA wheel nut covers

    Hi

Does anyone else find it extremely hard to remove the wheelnut covers on their Defender? Mine are impossible to remove. I've already broken the cheap plastic remover tool once and they just won't come off.

Any tips or tricks to getting them off?

    Cheers

are you talking about the locking wheel nut???

because the puma doesn't have removable covers it has alloy wheel nuts and only one has a cover and that is the locking wheel nut which you use the plastic tool you push it on till it click and the pull it comes off very easily

Genius! That's exactly what I needed to know!

    Thanks mate!

Spent half an hour with the guy at the LR service centre and he couldn't figure it out either...

Or you can just put the wheel brace on it and turn it about a full turn and it will come straight off with your fingers...
