    Rock Crawler Steel Wheels

I'm not very hot at searching the forum for older posts, so hope someone can help out.

A while back someone posted a link to an accesories dealer over east specialising in LR acceseories. He had black steel wheels listed with a large round circular openings as a patern (possibly Rock Crawler?).

Problem is that the laptop got repaired and my favourites erased. I was at the point of ordering a set of these for my Defender, and for the life of me, I can't find any reference on the forum or Google for that matter.

Any help will be much appreciated.

    Cheers!

Rock Crawler are sold by ProComp, they have dealers around the country, but the sizes to fit a Defender are limited in their offset. So will depend on your requirements. They don't make one with enough offset for me,so I bought a set of Dynamic rims in the offset I required, they also make the rims with circular holes,I think they are called "modular" design from memory.
Dynamic rims can be ordered through any Bob Jane tyre dealers, which makes it easy.

I ordered my dynamic rims for my discovery direct from the dynamic office in Victoria. I just had a look for their web page, but it comes up with a broken link.

I have the same, looked around at every wheel place i could, these are the only ones you can get with a decent offset, but IIRC they only come in black.

15x8 -25 offset(50mm further out then a standard rim) - they look very nice, i think they set me back about 112 a rim?

Thanks to all for the replies! I live up in the Pilbara, WA and only the foolhardy venture out without a second spare. This said, you can almost buy 6 steel rims for the price of 1 extra LR alloy and fit your gravel and mud tyres to those.

My 90 is Stornoway grey, so I think the black will look ok. I'll have a look at my supplier options up here...!

    Cheers!

Its a landy... you dont need fancy things like an interior or doors to make it street legal.... or a roof.... or bonnet... or gaurds....... or a steering wheel.......

Steering wheels are overrated. Ask Drivesafe, no steering wheel, no steering to lock when you RR looses power.
