    200Tdi DEEFARH Snorkel

    Hey Guys,

I'm a cheapskate and I'm looking for a Snorkel for my 200Tdi Defender (1993). Where should I look, i've glanced through ebay and found a gent in England selling a one piece unit for $180ish... Any suggestions?

    Thanks guys,
    Your friend Alex :P

Which ever way you end up going. The main thing with the 200Tdi is that the Safari type snorkel just attaches to the outside of the guard at the vent opening, and uses a seal and the original plastic ducting. What can happen is that the plastic ducting isn't really fully waterproof and when I removed mine to fit my Southdown stainless snorkel,I found that the ducting tube from the air filter to the vent in the guard had rubbed through and had a hole in it,which I wouldn't have known about had I fitted a plastic type snorkel.A few guys in the U.K. have found the same thing the hard way.The 300Tdi is a totally different setup as well
