 Comfort of rear seats
 Comfort of rear seats
Hi all, just want to know how comfortable are the rear seats in a 110 wagon compared to a 130. Looking at buying a 130 but the Minister for War and Finance thinks that the rear seat would be too uncomfortable and too upright.
It would only be used occasionally for an adult, but it could be used for long trips as well.
I would prefer a 130 but would be happy with a 110, it would be about a 2000 to 2006 model I would be looking at getting.
Thanks in advance
Allan

The rear seats in Defenders are not the best in comfort for an adult.
Our teenage daughters knees were in the back of the front seats so often that I had to change to a D2 so they could fit in - & the girls are not that big!
Adults on a long trip would be very vocal I would think.

I've been told that the 110 is more comfortable, due to the seat box setup of the 130.
Not sure how true that is though.
Not only is the seat very upright in the 130 there is not much leg room (dont know how it compares to a 110).
Really the whole area is not that great for an adult but for the occasional long trip it will be fine.
IMHO they are both the same, pretty much useless for anyone over 4ft.

pretty sure they are the same...
The 130 may be covered in a different fabirc, that's all. nothing an upholsterer can't fix. or just buy replacement covers from the UK, they are not expensive.
My wife just travelled 5000k's in 2 weeks in the back of our 130, and commented how comfortable the seat was.

From forum chatter, the rear seats in PUMA Defender are significantly more comfortable.
