Hi Guys,
Driving to the local shops my 1999 110 extreme suddenly began blowing a fuse when I indicated right. I checked RH bulbs, relays, main fuses and earth point [roo bar indicators] but the shorting remained. The auto-elec traced it to chaffing / rubbing on the main RH indicator-lights wiring loom in front of fire wall behind the brakes / ABS unit. He also found a coolant hose leading from the coolant reservoir to the car heater [at rear of engine block] that was almost worn through from chaffing on an oil cooler pipe. Two nice finds before becoming a headache or car stopper. cheers
