Possible a wheel speed sensor ?

You can disable the TC system by removing the fuse, but this may also affect the ABS, not sure on your model.

    Cheers

With the engine idling and no TC/ABS light on and someone sitting inside
Go and grab the Sensor Cable and give it a good wriggle around it TC activates then the cable has been damaged over time due to the twisting action of the steering.
If it doesnt pull it out and reseat it hit it down with your hand and a large screw driver this will adjust the air gap.
If you need to replace the sensor get some from Paddocks in the UK they are 75 Pounds each much cheaper than anything I can find in Australia.
