TD5 problem
Of late I have noticed oil on some of the wiring in the left engine bay, upon removing the cover I found oil buildup at the EGR replacement kit.
So I cleaned it off and gave little thought about it till I was doing a Service and again noticed oil.
Anyway looking a bit closer and finding a large buildup of oil at the left side of the intercooler, I pulled the whole front of the defender apart removed the intercooler for a better look thinking I was maybe getting oil bypass from the turbo.
No, does not look like it, so where is it coming from then?
As I don't really have a proper workshop manual it's hard for me to know what the cause is but was thinking maybe inlet valve seals are cooked, has anyone ever had the same problem and know what it is?

The circulation of oil in the intake system of these is really common, and yes it makes a mess. I would be thinking of a provent to reduce it.
