    puma hood latch panel removal

Hi all, in the middle of changing my intercooler, but I am having problems getting the studs out on the hood latch panel, any one know how this is done without ripping the studs to shreds?

    cheers.

    Thanks Drover,

Job done, 5 hours it took me, between messing around last night and getting it in and all back together.

You know how you un-box something then try and put it back in and it never fits!!! that was what it was like trying to get the front grill back on and the light covers, took the light cover of and the light out thinking I could get the studs out that way also but no way. took the opportunity to put some of those super dooper Philips bulbs in that I bought last year.

Found out the bloody auto electrician had wired my spots straight through the grill also so they had to be cut and reconnected.

The mounting plate on the right hand side (passenger side) had to have about 5 mm ground off so it did not rub on the intercooler.

Took some pics will post them up later once I have washed and had Brunch..

    thanks for your help.

Hey Pat glad to hear that the new intercooler is in and that it is all back togather.

It is a bit of a muck around job, but now it is done you will be well happy you did it.

    Enjoy.....
