Thread: Defender summary

I picked up my spankers Orkney Grey 110 Puma Wagon last Wednesday after a Defender ownership hiatus of 5 years.
My previous drive was a 93 200Tdi 110 Wagon. The following 5 years have been filled with mediocrity I will not mention here.

It is GREAT to be back in the world.

I also hope to be able to contribute to this great forum which was a massive help to me as I made the big decision to get back into the Landy owner's circle.

I'm in the process of ordering all the bits from the UK for my new puma,she's in the shop at the moment getting the darkest legal tint,should look really cool with the bronze paint and sawtooth alloys. Pat

One could say almost like any type of whitegoods....useful, practical but definitely not cool.
So there you go, if you are considering buying a Defender you will be part of a unique group of individuals, how many times have you driven a Toyota and had other Toyota drivers give you a wave when passing? Drive a Defender and you automatically enter into a unique band of people.

Uh oh... what does that say about female defender owners.. *gulp*

Oh well! Doesn't apply to me - I don't drive a Defender. Usually an Isuzu engined 110 (or the 2a ute). So I wonder what this says about me? Definitely cool - the heater is none too good; in winter that is - hot in summer as the aircon is nothing to write home about either.

There is not much to say about female Defender owners

What can one add to the fact that female Defender owners are smokin' hot and have the X-factor that the Glamour Ladies of the catwalk can only dream about
