I only fitted the one (driver's side tank) and used an independant filler using a deck mount filler from the boat shop. Others set them up similar to Bundalene with the 'Y' junction at the main filler point and a further 'Y' or 'T' junction to connect the two sill tanks.
In this case they used one of the old Tdi fillers as these were metal and the Td5 (and probably the Puma) ones are some type of plastic.
Two factors that affect filling as mentioned by Jon above is the plumbing and size of both the filler and breather pipes.
