    modify seats for more tilt?

    Hi All,
Just wondering if anyone has tried this, i want to get a little more tilt adjustment out of my puma seats(for passenger atleast) to allow more comforatable sleeping for the passenger while travelling, not to sure if this is possible but i am atleast hoping for another 5dg or so of tilt as standard they barely recline. Has anyone tried this?

    Thanks,

Yep , lifted and tilted. Just follow your elbow and make shure they are fixed as tight or better than original.

I have fitted these seat risers from Exmoor trim in the UK.

    Seat Riser

They work well and give you more leg room. The thing is they would be easy to fabricate as they are just a couple of bits of channel with holes drilled for the tilt adjustment bolts.
An easier option would be to place some extra washers on the seat bolts to give the required tilt/height, though not to much as the bolt may not be long enough.

Yes been considering tilting the seat base slightly, but doubt i would get enough out of it for what i am after without tilting the base to far which would become uncomfortable for general use. What i was thinking was modifying the reclining mechanism in the seat, i have checked it out, there is some room for adjustment but not sure on how i could do this safely.
