Not sure what you mean about numbers. ?
I agree, it's odd considering the fairly low power and torque output of the stock vehicle. LR obviously had good reason to jump to a 1350. It's maybe an indication that the standard shaft geometry is borderline.
IMHO smaller UJ's with a DC would have been a better solution, but more costly.....
There's no obvious way of disassembly and it's supposed to be a sealed for life item with no lubrication possible. The slip worked very easily and then came to a dead stop.
The shaft tubing has a circumferential weld in the middle, I therefore came to the conclusion that there is some sort of internal retainer or bearing which was assembled before the tube sections were welded together.
