    PUMA TYRES

    Kumusta
The tyres which came with my 2008 Puma 130 have tubeless written on them while the rims have tubed written on . Can anyone tell me if these tyres have tubes in them or not.
Also I have acquired two 110 rims. They fit onto the 130 OK. Can anyone see why I couldn't fiT tyres to them and use them as spares to get myself out of trouble until such time I could get the original tyre fixed.

The tyres should have tubes inside as the rims have no safety bead.

A look at the valve will tell definitively whether tubes are fitted or not, as sometimes tyres are fitted tubeless to those rims, although it isn't technically legal.

A standard 110 rim is a different offset and width but can be used on a 130.

I have always ran tubeless tyres on LR rims from my series days through to present without an issue but as Rick said it isn't technically legal. Pat

    Pat, shhh.

You know what sort of bunfight ensues whenever we mention someone might actually do this and have no issues into the bargain
