Have same problem. On my original tray (custom built for RFS) the filler was mounted to the 'flat-bed' of the tray itself - which stopped the spillage, but wasn't particularly practical when I wanted to permanently mount a camper box.

So I think the answer lies in making the filler neck more vertical - but there are limits because of the tray.

Mine seems ok so long as I don't overfill, did leak a while back but I made sure was clean and I don't fill above tank level now, do you have the pull out tube extension thingy , I think this helps baffle the surge- mine seemed to leak when filled up past the bottom of this thingy

    anterior annoyance

    Hi All

It's positively a pain in the proverbial, p' ing petroleum post portal.

How to expostulate about this expropriation of expensive expulsion.

This aberration requires a remedy, turn the problem around and use a 'S' bend.

The opening of the filler neck, needs to be still under the tray, but, at a steeper angle.
This means that the bottom end of the metal filler tube, is then further away from the tank.

I am looking for a suitable extension to span the extra distance of the entry tube into the tank and then over to the end of the filler tube.
The best I can come up with is something like, a 'S' bend as used under a sink but ideally made from steel pipe and with the two joints coupled with rubber hose.

    Cheers Arthur
