Hymie, "Try bodging a Japanese vehicle like that and see how far you get. " Come on Hymie, it's a mechanical injection pump, Landrover didn't invent it. Any vehicle with this fuel pump set up can be addapted to run like this.

Yes Land rovers are a great car but don't be so nieve to think that it is the be all and end all.

Your comment stood out to me as did Hymie's and it took me sometime to side with Hymie on this one. Although the Bosch VE injector pump is not dissimilar that of many other vehicles (including Japanese cars) I think that it'd be very difficult to route a fuel line out of the bonnet on a Japanese vehicle. So there!

And yes, I'm running on straight veggy oil and loving the freedom.

...Thats 'cos the Jap bonnets fit properly. :p

Used to make biodiesel for my Mazda & Paj, understand the feeling.... ;-))
