At 6"1' the mudrails make me sit too high. I bought them back in the UK and I had to give them away to a friend as I ended up sitting too high to see out the windscreen.
I'm having a keen look at the feedback from the Mulgo rails as I can do with sitting a little further back as well.
I have the MUD rails fitted. Yes you sit an inch higher and upto 2 inches further back - makes a significant difference.
To carry on the earlier discussions though, how do you move the seat back without increasing height? There is a bit of the seat box that requires the seat to be lifted in order to get over it. To that end, surely, whichever means you use to get the seat back, you have to lift it over the back of the seat box???
The MUD rails just clear the seat box raised bit at the back.
Here's a photo of an unfitted Mulgo seat extension rail. As can be seen, the front would not be much higher than the original when fitted but the rear would be about 30mm higher, giving the seat a very slightly more level positionQuote:

I have the mulgo ones on both sides, love them.
I'm 6'3" and have no problems with them being too high (although I do drive with the backrest fairly reclined). They only seemed to change the angle of the seat slightly (raised a little at the back). I ended up putting a few extra washers under the front to compensate.
I am about to go outside and pull them out of my td5 90 so they can go in my puma that I pick up on the weekend :D
They are a great product and easy to install. Plus I am going to get to use them all over again so well worth the money.
I was considering the Mud Rails but I am taller than most and already have trouble looking out the windscreen. The solution I found was to remove the front driver's seat altogether and sit on back passengers seat. I have had to cut a large hole in the roof for my head and shoulders to stick out and my knees rub against the ceiling when I go over bumps, and other than a few strange looks, its great.
When I take the mrs out, she rides in the trailer where headroom is not a problem.
