Not sure how they compare but have you looked at the seat rails from Daniel at Mulgo Expedition Equipment - great supporter of AULRO and a nice guy also.

Seat rails are not really necessary. All you need is a handful of washers under the rear end of the seat. This allows it to slide back over the flange. A few more under the front adjusts the seat tilt to your taste. You will also need 4 longer bolts.

    All done for about $5.

Got the Mulgo's on the passenger side and the muds on the drivers side, didn't know about Mulgo when I ordered the Mud Rails. Forgot to search.
I'd go the Mulgo Rails, much cheaper and do just the same job, and as mentioned a very nice guy.

I have mud rails fitted. Was not really concerned by the cost. They look factory when fitted, they are well finished, power coated and have plastic end caps. Supplied with good instructions and are fitted in but a few minutes. I found them a good company to deal with.

Can you weld at all? I made up a set in Stainless for about $15 or $20, but mild steel (painted) would work just as well. Easy design. Took a couple of hours. Do a search and you'll find the post of how I made them.

BIG difference to drivability if you are tall (I am 6'3").

    Cheers

Hey - no searching required. Here's the link: Made some Stainless longer seat rails for the Puma. $20 and 2 hours.

Pat, just a point I forgot re the Mud Rails. I had to modify one of the rails to fit the Puma as mine, I dont know if they all do, has a fixed stud on one of the rear mounts of the seat. I had to drill a hole large enough to get both the nut and socket in to tighten it to the seat box.
