    Defender alloy wheel dimensions ??

    G'day All,
Can anyone let me know the approximate dimensions at A & B in the drawing below of Defender alloy wheels. I presume most of the standard alloys will be the same offset. 'Boost' alloys are the most common alloy on Defenders, so that would be a good start, but if you have a different type and can measure them I would really appreciate it.
I'm in the process of designing accessories brackets which poke through the middle of the wheel on a spare wheel carrier, so I need the dimensions to make sure things will work.

    Cheers, Murray

    Defender alloy wheel dimensions

    Hi rijidij,
My Puma is a 2009 model and its alloy wheel dimensions that you have enquired about are:
    A 68.2mm
    B 1.56mm
(There is very little offset at B
I have your wheel carrier mounted to the car and can't speak highly enough of its design or build. It's great.

    Thanks Quigley,
So, the centre of the wheel is more or less in line with the outer rim. I wonder if the Boost is the same.

This is what I know as the 'Boost' alloy wheel. Were these continued right through to the Puma, I know the SVX has a different wheel, but they were a limited model.

    Murray,
    'A' = 68mm
'B' = 0mm or flush if you prefer

    Defender alloy wheel dimensions

    Hi Murray,
The wheels on my 2009 Defender are the same as the photo you have attached and refer to as the "Boost Alloy wheel". Except that they are a good deal dirtier at present.
    Regards,
    Hayden

The offset is stamped/embossed on the wheel. It is 33 mm.

    Thanks for the replies,
that will certainly be enough info to make a start. I've made a Hi-lift bracket, so we'll see how it works when it's fitted to a customer's car.
