Yesterday I was quoted $300 per tyre fitted. That was on Bighorns in 235/85-16

Tire Rack - Your performance experts for tires and wheels
Go here pick size, go 235 or 255 and see the difference!
bfg 255/85= $200 u.s
bfg muddues 235/85= $176
yoko geo ats 235/85=$129
So what it comes down to is can you import and fit them for under 200 per tyre if your going 255's or around 130 per tyre if you fit 235's?
What did it cost others per tyre to import tyres and fit?
Happy with Tire Rack - Your performance experts for tires and wheels for tyres. Fortunately ordered five KM2's when exchange was 1.09US to the Aussie, so the tyres that were locally unavailable for 12 weeks and cost $400 we on my door a week later at $196 each. I did have to pay $100 per tyre as air freight, but this still makes a 25%saving.......and 11 weeks quicker than local.
If you go this way, ensure the freight costs are detailed in the import documents so you stay under the $1000 duty threshold.
Am keen to buy local, but KM2's are made in USA. If there was a Aussie factory making them under licence I would be first in queue.
