HELP - Need County engine bay wiring diagram!

    G'day gents,

I am actually doing this on behalf of my mechanic - he needs the engine bay wiring diagram for my 1985 V8 County. We had a loom melt down after a coil change over - may have been caused by the starter motor - and because the previous owners have added their two bob over the years it has become a rats nest and he needs a guide to put it right.

He tells me he needs the engine bay wiring diagram, from the firewall plug, that shows the colours of the wires and where they go. Can anybody please scan me a copy of one if they have it and send it to me? That would be hugely appreciated!

Best to all for a happy new year!

    Simon.

I thought the owners' handbook in my old '84 County had one.

A NAS V8 110 for the Nineties would be very close.

Hmm, I wonder if the NAS Defender wiring diagram would be the same? I have one of those.

    gents,

He knows the engine is not the original V8, I think he just needs a guide showing the colours and where they run from the firewall plug ... I'm pretty sure he can work the rest out once he has a basic diagram in front of him.

I'm happy to take anything close right now, but if anyone has anything of the County wiring diagrams that would be best. Worst come to worst he will have to call a sparky in to do it for him and that means more on my bill.

P.S P38 - could you see if you have something from your 84 County manual mate?

    Cheers, Si.

I didn't know it had a P76 engine. Mine still had its original Rover 3.5 V8.

One issue with the NAS 110 is that it is most likely EFI

I don't think I ever copied it for my files. I sold it some years ago.
