    MR Automotive cv joints help...

    Hi all long time no issues, hope you are all fit and happy.
    I am about to fit MR's cv's they look different to the standard jobs any issues with that?
    Wickham WA 6720,

    i have one of each of the cv's in your pic currently fitted, from memory the newer one is off later defenders that have ABS, ABS ring i think it is called

    What age is your motor mate?
    I told them the age of mine so would think its cool

    its the Tone Ring for the ABS. Fit em up.

    Hi Lardy,

    Yes as Dave says it is the ABS sensor tone ring. IIRC the non ABS ones aren't even available anymore, so just bung em in

    still available as NOS but not from major suppliers.

    I wacked in the one side and seems good so will stick in the other tomorrow when I get back from the range.
    I am surprised to note the landy does seem to drive better, didn't think it would make a noticeable difference might be because everything is torqued up again.
