rewind... what do you define as the 'flange cap'...
Hello only me!
Trying to get the flange cap off so I can do the other side cv joint do you think it will budge ??
Er no it's on for the duration have tried a tender belting of the stupid hub spanner with a bar through it to no avail.
Might go to karratha and see if atom do one that is less rough as guts and see if I can get a better fit. Any ideas apart from that would be appreciated.

Sometimes trying to do it up a little instead of trying to undo it can be enough to get it to 'crack' - then it will undo easier.
Other thing I do is balance the hub nut on a jack stand - makes it easier to get more leverage.
Cheers
