Get some urethane sheet 4-5mm thick...
Almost unbreakable
Lara has them...
Has anyone on here made their own mud flaps for their Defender from conveyor belt rubber?
The original mud flaps did not survive a trip to Ourimbah SF last year.
Thinking of attaching them to the back bar, rather than the aluminium body as per the original design.

Made mine from insertion rubber (like conveyor belt) from Clark Rubber.
I made a custom bracket out of some square tube that bolts to chassis as I didnt want to attach them to the aluminium.
Haven't done a lot of hard work but are holding up fine so far.

Has anyone made/fitted front mud flaps?
Kentkal,
I firmly believe in the need for mud flaps all round and My 90's had them fitted before delivery. They are obviously exactly the same as the 110 and 130's.
The rear mudflaps on a 90 is also mounted a whole lot srurdier than on it's bigger brothers using a angle directly mounted on the rear cross member. Possibly not a bad option for those with 110's that want to move theirs back.
