I think the LR dealer in Mackay has been pretty active on car sales. He has had a few tucked away there that he has trickled out lol.

People here in Melbourne tend to be a bit zoned out and focused I find so it's sometimes hard to get a wave. I drove alongside a 110 in Melbourne the other day turning right onto Flemington road near the entrance to the Tulla and gave him a toot as I went by. Scared the living daylight savings out of him I reckon ha ha. Shows you how much people check the mirrors as I'd been stalking him for a while :wasntme::p
I wave to all Deafeners and have tried to stop the cook from waving when in her Camry..... I don't want a bad name. ;)
But lately the waves have been very hard to get returned, maybe they're new owners who don't know the ownership requirements yet.
AlanH.
There are a few rookies out there who just need a little educating.
Also, what's the protocol for night time waves when you can't even see the driver or into the cabin?
Cheers
Managed to exchange a wave in the dark tonight. All I could see was a dark Defender shaped outline with a light, hand shaped patch in the windscreen go past. Hopefully my wave was seen back. As soon as I could see (or sense) it was a Defender my hand went up without thinking, its become a reflex action now.
A couple of nights ago I was flashed on the M2 as I pulled in in front of a white 110. Returned that with a flash of the hazards.
Cheers,
Jon
Very big wave from a white 130 today on GFF and in Polys Pipe (Discovery Automotive decals), Nice to see I am not the only one slightly over the top with the hands out the window wave. Shame the brand new silver 90 blew straight past both of us.
I've exchanged waves with the discovery automotive 130 lots of times! He's very enthusiastic ✋
You need to take this seriously like I do....
I bought a set of LED gloves so I can be seen waving at night.
